Workday V43 updates - Submit Job Profile
New Submit Job Profile Web Service:
Workday has introduced the Submit Job Profile web service as an initiating action within the Manage Job Profile business process. Configure which security groups can access this web service through the business process security policy for Manage Job Profile. This new web service allows for the creation or editing of job profiles in bulk, utilizing the Manage Job Profile business process.
Deprecation of Put Job Profile Web Service:
Workday recommends using the new Submit Job Profile web service instead of the existing Put Job Profile web service. The Put Job Profile web service will be disabled starting with V43.0. When creating a new EIB, the Put Job Profile web service will no longer be available.
Get Job Profile Web Service Update:
V43.0 of the Get Job Profile web service has been updated to provide a consistent experience with the new Submit Job Profile web service.
These updates are designed to enhance the efficiency and flexibility of managing job profiles in Workday.
Workday Housekeeping Remote Task
Add Task Step Type and All Reference IDs
Users can now schedule a task to download all Reference IDs with current filtering settings applied, such as excluding inactive items. Before finalizing the download, users can view, edit, and confirm these filters in the Workday Integration Setting. The download process mirrors the current manual download from the UI, ensuring a consistent user experience, including any messaging provided. Additionally, the task output includes logs and any errors encountered, such as connection issues with Workday.
Removed hardcoded "PSV" from Treeview node
As a JTE editor, you will now see the correct title at the top of the Treeview node when editing it. The Treeview node will display the title block consistently with all other building block elements. Previously, the “PSV” name was hardcoded to the top of the block, which was confusing for clients as it did not have any meaningful context for them. This update ensures clarity and consistency across all elements.
