New “Read and Confirm” Acknowledgement Statement Option
We’ve added a new optional “Statement” setting that helps ensure employees read and acknowledge the full job description before accepting it. This supports greater understanding and accountability—without disrupting existing workflows.
Key Details
A new “Statement” checkbox is now available in the Display tab.
When enabled:
Admins can enter a custom confirmation statement (max 500 characters).
Employees must scroll through the job description content.
A checkbox with the statement appears at the bottom.
The Accept button stays disabled until both the content is fully viewed and the checkbox is selected.
Users see the prompt: “Scroll to read, then check the box at the bottom to accept.”
When not enabled:
No changes are made to the existing acknowledgment experience.
Impact on Existing Customers
This feature is off by default.
Existing acknowledgment cycles remain unaffected. The new functionality only applies when explicitly enabled for a new or updated acknowledgment form.
When enabled, the acknowledgment statement is presented only to the employees responsible for completing the acknowledgment, and not to managers involved in the workflow.
Why It Matters
This enhancement is designed to reinforce that acknowledgment means more than just clicking a button—it’s a confirmation that the employee has read and understood the job expectations.
