We’re thrilled to share our latest updates, designed to enhance your job data management experience. From the ability to update tree views, radio buttons, and textboxes via Bulk Update, to a simplified 0–100 similarity scoring system, faster loading times for Application Settings, and improved accuracy in Detailed Search for Content Blocks, these enhancements streamline your workflow and provide greater control over your data. Dive in to discover how each update elevates your JDXpert experience!
Normalized Similarity Scoring: 0-100 Scale
We are excited to introduce a revised similarity scoring system in JDXpert, which adjusts the similarity score from a 0–1000 scale to a simplified 0–100 scale. This update makes the scores easier to interpret and more meaningful for job comparisons. Additionally, essential functions and competencies are now incorporated into the scoring formula, providing more relevant and accurate comparisons.
Value
This enhancement is valuable because it addresses the limitations of the previous scoring system, offering a clearer and more intuitive way to compare jobs. By including essential functions and competencies, users can now perform more comprehensive and relevant job comparisons, saving time and improving efficiency. The intuitive interface and real-time validation features ensure a smoother user experience, while the preview and audit trail capabilities provide transparency and accountability.
Remove Instance Query from load of Application Settings
We have optimized the loading time for Application Settings, significantly reducing the wait time for Admin users. Previously, the system checked for the existence of any V1/JDXApps instances to determine the visibility of the "View V1 App Settings" menu option, which caused delays. By making the "View V1 App Settings" option always visible to Admin users, we have eliminated this bottleneck, resulting in a much faster load time.
Why is this important?
This enhancement is valuable because it improves the efficiency and user experience for Admin users, allowing them to access Application Settings more quickly. The streamlined process ensures that Admin users can manage settings without unnecessary delays, enhancing overall productivity.
Optimizing Detailed Search for Accurate Block Display
When logged in as a System Admin and navigating to Job Management, selecting a job description (JD), and using the Content Search for the Education block, the selected education option from the Crowd-Sourced Jobs does not display the Degree field in the first column, only showing the Field of Study. This issue also occurs in the License and Certification block. However, the Smart Search correctly updates both the Degree and Field of Study. The expected result is that the selected education should display both the Degree field and Field of Study as intended. Detailed and Smart search should populate according to the content mapping defined in the building block.
