You can request external links (URLs) of job descriptions (of you and your reporters).
To get the job description link
1. On the homepage, copy the link (URL) in the Quick Tips section.
Or
Append your JDXpert site URL with “/requestjobs.aspx” and create the URL.
For example, if your JDXpert URL is https://hrtms.jdxpert.com/, then the request job description URL will be: https://hrtms.jdxpert.com/requestjobs.aspx.
To request a job description (employee)
1. Open the link in a browser.
This displays the following screen:
2. Enter your email address and press Enter.
This displays the following message:
3. Open the link sent in the email.
This displays the preview of the job description in the browser:
4. Click x to close the browser.
To request a job description (manager)
1. Enter your email address and press Enter.
You should have direct and indirect reporting employees associated in the system to get the links of their job descriptions.
This displays the following screen:
Select the following check boxes:
Send Link to My Job Description – To get the link to your job description
Send Link to My Direct Reports' Job Descriptions – To get the link of your direct reporting employee job descriptions
Send Link to Indirect Reports' Job Descriptions – To get the link of your indirect reporting employee job descriptions
2. Click Submit.
This displays the following message:
3. Click the URLs received in your email to view all job descriptions.
To configure the email
You can configure emails sent to the employees requesting job description URLs.
To configure the email template
1. Navigate to the Admin Tools tab.
2. Click Other Administration Tasks and select the Edit All Files In Entity node.
This displays the following screen:
3. Use the search and filter options as shown in the following screen:
4. Double-click the JobDescriptionsEmailRequest.htm file.
This displays the template in the Word editor:
5. Edit the template as required and click Save and Close.
This displays the following message:
6. Click Ok.
To configure the email content
1. Navigate to the Job Management tab.
2. Use the search and filter options to find the desired jobs.
3. Right-click the selected job and select Share Selected Jobs.
This displays the following screen:
4. Click More and select Settings.
This displays the following screen:
5. Edit the required properties in the Share Settings section as shown:
6. Click Save and Close.
7. Click x to close the screen.
