The knowledge base contains articles on using the application (user guide), troubleshooting guide, implementation guide, frequently asked questions, and tutorials.
To open the knowledge base
1. On the toolbar, click Knowledge Base.
Or
Click the Knowledge Base tab.
This displays the knowledge base of the system.
2. Expand the left tree to view all articles.
3. Click a topic in the tree to view the article in the right pane.
These articles are organized to cover each functionality of the application.
To open the knowledge base from an external link
You can open the knowledge base from the external link.
1. Click the following icon as shown in the figure:
This displays the Share KB Article dialog box.
2. Copy the web link from the Share/copy this URL box.
3. Open the link in the browser.
This opens the knowledge base and displays the selected article.
Using the search and filter options
You can use the search (text or phrase) and filter options to find the articles easily.
1. Enter the text or phrase (topic or functionality related) in the search box and press the search icon.
This displays the search results (articles) and search count as shown:
2. Click an article to view it.
This displays the article as follows:
The search and filter functionalities are consistent across all areas of the application. For further information on using filters, refer to the article, “Employee Search.”
