In this tutorial, we are going to take a look at the features that you will gain with your JDxpert and MarketPay integration, also known as MarketPay Jobs.
Before we begin, there is some essential information to know and understand before we get into the functionality of your MarketPay integration. Let's take a few minutes and look at the data flow and fields that go between the two systems.
You will notice that information flows between your HRMS system, MarketPay Core, and MarketPay Jobs systems. It is also important to understand which information is transferred between MarketPay Core and MarketPay Jobs.
First, let's look at data that is transferred from Marketpay Core to MarketPay Jobs.
- Data from MarketPay Core loads choice lists and MarketPay Jobs from data in MarketPay Core for salary grades, currencies, career levels, salary structures, and job families.
This import does not replace the job family structure in MarketPay jobs, this is an additional/separate job families choice list that must be done manually.
- Loads Market Pricing associated with each job description.
- Creates a job in MarketPay Jobs (if not present), and preloads with data from MarketPay Core with the following fields: Job Code, Title, Grade, CareerStream, ExternalAltJobCode, and Market Pricing data.
Next, let's look at Marketpay Jobs data transfer to MarketPay Core.
It sends jobs to MarketPay Core containing the following data: JobCode, Title, AlternateMarketPayJobsFieldValue, JobCodeKey, Currency, Grade, and Structure.
