What’s new in this release!
These updates (build version 2024.03.29) should show in production environments on April 17, 2024
(note: this release date was updated from the originally-planned April 11th schedule)
Style Manager is now live
This new functionality allows you to standardize styles in your job description layouts, reducing the need to sed manual override styles throughout your template. If you currently have style overrides set on your job templates, you do not need to make any immediate changes! However, you can begin configuring styles and applying them to your template any time.
Note that once you have applied styles from the Style Manager to any building blocks, you cannot revert to the legacy style overrides for those blocks.
Look for additional documentation coming soon!
Job Template Editor is now the primary template tool
You can now access the Job Template Editor directly from locations throughout JDXpert. If your site has multiple templates configured, you can select the correct template to edit.
If you enter a template from a location other than the Job Description view, you will be prompted to select a job to populate the template preview. As always, job content cannot be edited when updating the template, but this allows you to preview the template.
Fixed Issues
Replace hard-cascaded child content when a parent job is changed
If a child job has a new parent assigned to it, hard cascaded data will be replaced with the new parent’s contents. And soft-cascaded data or other dependent fields will continue to behave as expected
Visibility expressions not updating immediately
An issue was discovered where visibility expressions and dependent fields were not updating in the job preview unless the job description was saved and refreshed. These fields will now update in real time.
