You can import jobs from XML files in the system. This feature is most commonly used to restore the job database in the system.
To import jobs from XML files
You need to export the jobs to XML files before using this feature. For further information, refer to the article, “Exporting Jobs as XML files.”
1. Navigate to the Job Management tab.
2. Use the search and filter options to find the desired jobs.
3. Click Import, and then select Import Jobs from XML files.
This displays the Import Jobs from XML Format screen:
4. Click Upload.
This displays the following dialog box:

a. Drag the required ZIP file and drop it in the dialog box as shown:
6. Browse to the required folder.
7. Select the ZIP file which you have exported.
This ZIP file contains XML files of each job; after exporting jobs in XML format.
8. Click Open.
This populates all jobs in the screen as shown in the following figure:
9. Select the following check boxes:
Update Existing Records – To only update the existing records after importing the files
Add New Records – To add importing records as new records in the system
Allow Renaming (by Unique Job Code) – To rename the imported jobs (by the job code)
Reapply Master Template (Recommended) – To reapply the master template (recommended) to the importing jobs
Run in Preview Mode – To run the job in the preview mode before importing (to verify the details before actually importing the data)
10. Click Run Import.
This displays the following dialog box:
11. Click Ok.
This displays the preview mode of importing jobs in the following screen:
12. Click x to close the screen.
This displays the importing screen with the message as shown in the following figure:
13. Click x after the importing process is completed.
