You can configure the security profiles to restrict access to the upload, delete, and download attachment functions.
To set the security profiles on the Upload, Delete, and Download attachments
1. Navigate to Job Management.
2. Double-click the job to display the View/Edit form:
3. Select the Attachment tab and click Manage.
This displays the following screen:
The Upload Attachment, Delete Attachment(s), and Download buttons are grayed out since the user has no access.
Only administrators and job description administrators can add attachments to jobs in workflow
To grant access to these functions
1. Open Job Management, click More, Configure, and select the Edit Authorization Settings File option.
This displays the following screen:
2. Click the Attachments node and set the security roles in the following properties:
AddAttachments_SecurityProfiles
DeleteAttachments_SecurityProfiles
DownloadAttachments_SecurityProfiles
3. Click Apply Changes.
4. Click Save and Close.
This displays the following message:
5. Click OK.
6. Again, edit the job and verify the attachment options.
By default, Admin and JobDescAdministrator roles have access to these functions.
To configure the attachment access for the jobs opened from the Tasks section
If you open a job in a workflow from the Tasks section, you must also configure these settings in the Auth. Settings.
Right-click the Job Management icon, and click Edit Auth Settings.
This displays the following screen:
Select the ManagerReviewJobTemplates file and click Edit.
This displays the following screen:
3. Click the Attachments node and set the same security roles in the following properties:
AddAttachments_SecurityProfiles
DeleteAttachments_SecurityProfiles
DownloadAttachments_SecurityProfiles
Click Save and Close.
Click Select and Close Form.
