You can add/edit/delete jobs, job families, and sub-functions.
To view the Manage Job Families screen
1. Navigate to the Job Management tab.
2. Use the search and filter options to find the desired jobs.
3. Select a job and click the Job Family tab.
4. In the Job Family pane, click Set Job Family.
This displays the Set Job Family for Job Description dialog box:
5. Click More, and then click Edit All Job Families.
This displays the Manage Job Families screen:
To view or edit a job
1. In the Manage Job Families screen, select a job family from the list to display its tree structure (job-family, sub-functions, and jobs).
2. Double-click a job in the tree to view or edit the job.
This displays the Edit Job Description screen:

3. Click Save and Close to save the changes and close the screen.
To add a job family
1. In the Manage Job Families screen, click Add.
This displays the Job Family dialog box:
2. Enter the new job family name and click Save and Close.
This displays the newly added job family.
To edit a job family
1. In the Manage Job Families screen, double-click a job family.
This displays the Edit Job Family screen:
You can add/edit sub-functions, edit the job family description in this screen.
Refer to the article, “Editing a Job Family” for further information on editing the job family.
After adding the sub-functions, the following details are displayed in the screen:
2. Click Save and Close.

To add jobs
1. In the Manage Job Families screen, select the job family for which you wish to add jobs.
The #Job Descs column displays the job count in this job family.
2. Select the sub-function in the job family tree.
This turns on the Add Jobs(s) button.
3. Click Add Job(s).
This displays the Select Job screen:
4. Use the search and filter options to find the desired jobs.
5. Select the job and click Select and Close.
The new job is listed in the job family tree.
The job count is updated in the #Job Descs column.
To delete a job family
1. In the Manage Job Families screen, select the job family which you wish to delete.
2. Click Delete.
If there are jobs associated with the job family, it displays the following message:
You cannot delete a job family that has jobs linked with it.
3. Click Ok.
4. In the Manage Job Families screen, select the job family which has no jobs linked with it.
The job count in #Job Descs column is zero for the job family with no jobs linked to it.
5. Click Delete.
This displays the following message:
6. Click Yes.
This displays the confirmation message.
7. Click Ok.
This deletes the job family.
