You can configure the Tasks section on the main page.
To view the main page settings
1. On the main page, the Tasks section is displayed as shown in the following figure:
2. Right-click in the Tasks section, and select Edit Main Page Settings.
This displays the Edit Main Page Settings File screen:
3. Click the Home Page V2 Settings tab.
You can configure the Tasks section in this screen.
To show/hide the Tasks section
1. Clear the Tasks Visible check box to hide the Tasks section on the main page.
2. Click Save and Close.
This hides the Tasks section on the main page as shown in the following figure:
To change the position of the Tasks section
1. In the Tasks section, enter the new order number in the Order list.
2. In the Quick Links section, enter the new order number in the Order list.
3. Click Save and Close.
This displays the main page with a new sequence of sections:
To change the position of the Tasks section
1. Select the following in the Column list:
- Left – To display the Tasks section on the left side of the main page
- Right – To display the Tasks section on the right side of the main page
2. Click Save and Close.
This displays the Tasks section at the new position.
To set access to selected profiles
1. Click More next to the Select the Security Profiles for Tasks section.
This displays the Select Security Profiles for Tasks section:
2. Select the profiles for which you wish to give access to the Tasks section.
3. Click Select and Close Form.
This populates the roles in the box as shown:
4. Click Save and Close.
The Tasks section is visible only to the selected profiles.
To define the grid columns
1. Click Tasks Grid Columns.
This displays the following screen:
2. Click Define Grid Columns.
This displays the Edit Grid Columns screen:
This screen contains the following elements:
- Toolbar – Contains the action buttons
- Column Grid – Displays the column details
3. Select the column which you wish to edit and click Edit.
This displays the Edit Column screen:
4. Select the Is Visible check box to show the column or vice versa.
5. Click Edit as JD Expression.
This displays the Edit Job Description Tagged Text screen:

6. Edit the tagged text as shown in the following figure:
7. Click Save and Close.
8. Click Save and Close.
9. Click Save and Close.
10. Click Save and Close.
11. Click Save and Close.
This displays the updated text on the screen as shown:
