You can add various types of blocks in the job template editor (for example, bullet lists, combobox, checkbox, text Box, formulabox, text, and so on.)
To add a building block
1. Edit the job template editor.
2. Select the tab in which you wish to add the new block.
This displays the following screen:
3. Select the type of block:
3. Enter the block name.
4. Select the Has Binding check box.
5. Select the bindable field in the list.
6. Click Add Block.
This adds the new block at the bottom of the form.
7. Click Save and Close.
To update the data binding
You can change the data binding later in the job template editor from this screen:
1. Edit the building block.
2. Select the Data tab and update the settings:
3. Select the following in the Input/Output Mode:
GetAndSetDBValue – To enter the data and save
GetDBValueOnly – To retrieve the value
SetDBValueOnly – To set the value only (used in formula boxes)
NoDatabaseImpact – not saved in database (used in labels)
4. Select the following in Binding Type:
BindableField – To select a bindable field
TaggedText – To add a tagged text (expression)
User_Defined – To add a user defined field
NoBinding – No database binding
5. Click Save and Close.
