Turning On the "Alternate Layouts" Option

You can turn on the “Alternate Layouts” option to replace the bullet list designer layout.

To turn on the “Alternate Layouts”

1. Edit the job template editor.

This displays the following screen:

2. Right-click to the left of the block and select Job Template Editor.
3. Click the Edit icon in the Required Education block.
4. Select the Settings tab.

5. Click More, and select Job Template Settings.

This displays this screen:

6. Select the Job Template Editor tab.

7. Select the Alternate Layouts checkbox.

8. Click the Help icon to view additional information.

9. Click Close.
10. Click Save and Close.

11. Click Save and Close to save the settings and close the JTE.

The Alternate Layouts feature examines the current job template and the system entity's Gallery Job Template (Business Rule → DefaultGalleryMasterTemplateName) for blocks that share the same binding as the currently selected block but have unique names. If any matches are found, they appear in the Replace Block dropdown list when the Alternate Layouts setting is enabled.

To change the bullet lists layout

1. Reopen the job template editor and edit the bullet list.
2. Click the Edit icon of Education bullet list.
3. Select the new option in the Replace Block dropdown list:

The Replace Block option is available for select bullet lists.

4. Select the appropriate layout from the list.

The new layout is displayed in the template.
