You can configure the advanced text options.
To configure the advanced text options
- Select the Advanced Options tab.
This displays the following screen:
To spell-check the text
- Select the Spell-Check the Text Boxes checkbox
This performs a spell check in the text box.
To show the read-only text box as labels
- Select the Show Read-Only TextBoxes as labels checkbox
This displays a read-only text box as a label.
To select the text box content on focus
- Select the Text Boxes on Focus checkbox
Click on or enter this text box, the entire text is selected.
To add the text search button
- Select the Show Row Text Search button checkbox.
This displays the Search icon in the bullet list as shown:
To specify the maximum text box length
- Set the maximum characters allowed in the Maximum Text Box Length list.
To adjust the text height (in percentage)
- Set the percentage in the Text Height Adjustment % list as shown:
To specify the “Set Bullets” icon in the rows
- Select the following option:
- Show the button when there is multiple lines of text in the list – To show the button when there are multiple lines in the list
- Always Show the button regardless of the data in the text – To always display the button irrespective of the data in the text
- Hide the button - don't show it at all – To always hide the button
This setting is reflected in the bullet list as shown:
To set the bullet list validation
You can specify the minimum and maximum rows, the minimum and maximum percentage, the error messages, and so on.
- Select the percentage in the This Bullet List Has Validations checkbox.
- Click Set Validations.
This displays the following screen:
- Enter the following details (as required):
- MaxRows
- MinRows
- MaxPercentage
- MinPercentage
- MaxChecked
- MinChecked
- DuplicateRowsErrorMessage
- MaxRowsErrorMessage
- MinRowErrorMessage
- ValueErrorMessage
- Click Close Form.
To specify the job posting settings (TaggedText_ReadOnlyJobPosting)
When the bullet list is in read-only mode, the expression stored in this property is executed. You can access this property via Advanced Options → Job Posting Settings or Advanced Properties → TaggedText_ReadOnlyJobPosting.
- Select the Show Job Posting in Read Only Mode checkbox.
- Click Job Posting Settings.
This displays the following screen:
To close and save the settings in the bullet list designer
- Click Close Form.
- Click Save and Close to save the settings and close the job template editor.
