You can customize the Side-By-Side View screen by adding or deleting elements in the side-by-side profile.
To edit a side-by-side profile
1. Navigate to the Job Management tab.
2. Use the search and filter options to find the desired job.
3. Select the jobs which you wish to view side-by-side.
4. Right-click the selected jobs and click View Side-by-Side.
This displays the Side-By-Side View screen.
This screen contains the elements as shown in the following figure:
The elements in the Job details section can also be customized.
5. Click Edit Profiles.
This displays the following screen:
To add an element in the "Side-By-Side View" screen
1. Select a profile and click the Edit icon:
This displays the Edit screen:
2. Click the Data Elements tab.
This screen defines the elements displayed in the Side-By-Side View screen.
3. Click Add New to add a new element.
This displays the Add Element screen:
You add the new element details in the side-by-side profile.
4. Enter the name in the Enter Name box.
5. Select the element type in the Side-By-Side Element list.
6. Select the This is a custom element check box if it is a customized element.
7. Select the binding type in the Select Binding Type list.
8. Select the bindable property in the Select the Bindable Property list.
9. Enter the caption in the Caption in Tagged Text format box.
10. Click Save and Close.
This adds this item to the screen as shown in the following figure:
11. Click Save and Close.
This updates the element number as shown in the following screen:
12. Click x to close the form.
13. Again, open jobs side-by-side to view the newly added field in the Side-By-Side View screen.
To delete an element in the "Side-By-Side View" screen
1. Click Edit Profile.
2. Select a profile and click the Edit icon:
This displays the following screen:
3. Click the Data Elements tab.
4. Right-click the row which you wish to delete and click Delete.
This displays the following message:
5. Click Yes.
6. Click Save and Close.
7. Click x to close the screen.
This displays the Side-By-Side View screen.
The selected block (Title block) is removed from the screen.
8. Click x to close this screen.
