Employee acknowledgments are configured to automatically initiate using a remote task.
To initiate employee acknowledgments using a remote task
The most common employee change events for which acknowledgments are initiated are:
- Initial Record
- Job Version_Changed
- Changed_Title
- Changed_Position Title
- Changed_JobDescID
- Changed_JobCode
- Changed_Job_Description
- Job_Revised_and_Finalized

To initiate an employee acknowledgment manually
- Navigate to the Employee Administration tab.
This displays the following screen:
- Use the search and filter options to displays the desired employees.
Managers can also initiate acknowledgments of their reporting employees from the My Employees node. For further information, refer to the article, “Initiating Employee Acknowledgments from "My Employees" Node."
To initiate acknowledgment for a single employee
- Select the employee for which you wish to initiate the job description workflow.
This screen displays the employee details along with their managers.
Employees and their managers should have user records to initiate the workflow.
- Click JD Acknowledgments, and select Start JD Acknowledgment Workflow for <employee name>.
This displays the New JD Acknowledgment screen:
- Select the application cycle in the Application Type (Cycle) dropdown list.
- Click Create JD Acknowledgement.
This displays the following screen:
- Click OK.
This initiates the workflow for the employee.
To initiate acknowledgements for multiple employees
- Select multiple employees for which you wish to start the workflow.
- Click JD Acknowledgments, and select Start JD Acknowledgment Workflows for <number> selected employees.
This displays the following screen.
- Click Create JD Acknowledgment.
This displays the following message:
- Click Yes to view the results.
This displays the results.
You can download these results to an Excel file.
