Hey everyone! Welcome to another quick training video. Today we are going to talk about some new changes to the tool that was formally known as the Express Editor. We have essentially rebranded it and is now called the Job Template Editor. You are probably seeing this new tool and changes already on your site. So, let's go over how to quickly add a new tab page using this new editor. So, let's go and run through it.
To access the Job Template Editor, you will start by going to Job Management and the easiest way to access it is by going to the job, right-clicking on it, and selecting the Job Template Editor.
The first thing you notice in this new editor is on the right-hand side we added the new panel here. On the left-hand side, it's pretty much the same layout just like before with Express Editor. But, the only difference now is when you go to edit a tab or building block, everything populates on the right-hand side in this panel.
So, to add a new tab page, let's go up top here and click Configure Tab Pages.
To add any tab, you simply come here on the tab page and type it in. Let's create a Test Tab here, and you will also notice that it auto-populates it under the Caption as well.
You will notice that on the right, the default access will be Viewable By Everyone which is essentially default and which matches what it was before. However, you can easily and quickly change this with this new drop-down menu, right here.
On the right-hand side, you have the ability to add your Visibility Expression if you need to. Once you are done, you click on Add Tab and this tab will be added to your list at the bottom.
The first icon you see here is called the Drag and Drop icon. So essentially if you need to move this tab to the top or bottom, you can absolutely do that just like I'm doing here.
The next icon you see is an Eyeball icon. This icon allows you to set your visibility for this new tab. So if you wanted to hide it, just simply click on it. If you want to unhide it, just click on the Eyeball again.
On the right-hand side, we have the menu drop-down here. There are several settings that are brought over by the master template. For example, if you are printable, you can also set your Side-by-Side as well as your page break.
You also have the Gear icon which is basically the same thing as before which shows the Properties for this tab.
And last but not least, you also have the ability to Delete this tab by clicking on this Trash can icon.
If you need to delete it, it will prompt you as you see here. It will ask you, “Are you sure you want to delete?” You will have to simply say Yes or No.
Once you are done you simply click on Save and Close and this tab will now be added to your master template.
If you are an Enterprise client, you can Add Tab Pages; however, if you are an Essential client, you are limited to using the Best Practice templates.
Thank you for going over how to add a new tab page using our new Job Template Editor tool. Stay tuned for more videos on how to use the job temple editor. Thanks!
