What you will see in the job description is your actual job posting. You will not have the ability to update the job posting rendering within this view.
If you need to update the job posting format, go into the Job Template Editor and select Job Posting from the three dots on the upper right corner. What you'll see in this job posting is what is included by JDX. Most of this is only editable for Enterprise customers. However, if you are a Basic or Pro customer, there are a few areas where you can edit. You can edit the header at the top of the posting, the disclaimer on the bottom the visibility of the field and the captions. For example, you may not want physical demands in your job posting, so you can turn that off.
To make edits here, go into the three dots (ellipsis) on the right-hand side to see the Job Posting Template. An explanation of this configuration follows here, but this is also contained in the next chapter of this tutorial - Configuring the Form View.
Click on Edit Job Posting Template (the first one).
When you look at the right-hand side, you can see that this is all coming from the different parts of the job description in JDX. A Brief Overview is coming from the Summary, What you will do is coming from the Essential Functions, Qualifications (ALL) is coming from the Qualifications section and Physical Demands and Working Conditions are coming from Physical Demands.
The Header is the Title. Organizational Summary can be changed. If you click on Organizational Summary, you'll see the disclaimer already here. There is an expression already formatted, but that could be overridden by simply deleting it and replacing it with your text.
Job Summary is pretty much what would you expect. If you go to Physical Demands and decide you do not want your physical demands to appear, just click on the section on the left panel and change the Visibility Rule to invisible. The same process applies to Working Conditions. If you wish to change the Posting Footer, delete the Text Expression and replace it with your preferred text.
Remember before you come out of this screen, to click Save and Close, otherwise your changes will not be saved. Click Save and Close Form on each window where it appears.
When you come out of the Job Template Editor, you will return to the job description. Once you save the job description, you will see the changes that you made to the job posting appear in the actual job posting.
