The workspace of the Employee Administration tab is logically divided in various sections.
To view the Employee Administration tab
1. On the Advanced Tools menu, click Employee Administration.
This displays the Employee Administration tab.
The workspace is divided as follows:
It includes the following sections:

Search and Filter Options – Contains the following:
- Search and Filter options – To search and filter the employee database
- Advanced link – To open the Advanced Employee Search dialog box
- Search Text Within section – To select the database for searching (Employee, Managers, and Jobs)
- Toolbar – Displays the Import, Export, and More button

Top Buttons – Displays the following buttons:
- Add – Displays the Add Employee screen (to add a new employee)
- JD Acknowledgements – Contains the menu items to acknowledge the job descriptions
- Record Count – Displays the count of employees displayed in the data grid and the option to set the maximum number of records

Employee Data Grid – Displays the employee list
- Action buttons – Displays the action buttons (Edit, View, Edit Properties)
- Right-click menu – Displays the right-click menu (Delete)
- Footer – Displays the page navigation buttons
