You can set the the default Side-by-Side profiles in the job template editor.
To set the default Side-by-Side profile
- Open the job template editor.
- Click More, and select Job Template Settings.
This displays the following screen.
- Select the default profile in the Side-by-Side Default Profile list as shown:
- Click Save and Close.
To set the default Side-by-Side profile in the Matrix node
- On the homepage, right-click the Matrix quick link and select Edit Node.
This displays the following screen:
- Select the All Properties tab.
- View the SideBySideProfileName property.
You need to set profile in this property (if it is not set already).
- Click More in the SideBySideProfileName property.
This displays the list of profiles in the following screen:
- Select the required profile and click Select and Close.
This profile is populated in the SideBySideProfileName property as shown:
- Click Save and Close.
- Click Save and Close.
To view jobs side-by-side in the Matrix tab
You can also view jobs side-by-side in the Job Management tab. For further information, refer the article, ”Viewing and Editing Jobs Side-By-Side"
1. Navigate to the Matrix tab.
2. Select the jobs that you want to view side-by-side.
3. Right-click the selected jobs and select View Side by Side.
This displays the jobs in side-by-side view as shown:
The Side-by-Side profile used here is defined in the Master Template Summary tab as described in the previous section.
To view jobs side-by-side using other profiles
1. Select the required jobs in the Matrix tab.
2. Click Selected Jobs as shown:
This displays the following screen:
3. Click Side-By-Side.
This displays the selected jobs in the Side-By-Side view as shown:
4. Select the required profile in the Side-by-Side Profile list.
This displays the jobs in the selected profile:
5. Click x to close the screen.
6. Click x to close the screen.
