You can create tagged text and expressions that may contain multiple tokens.
To create multiple tokens tagged text
1. Navigate to the Job Management tab.
2. Click Export, and then select Export Jobs to Excel via Profile.
This displays the Export Jobs using Custom Profile screen:
3. Select the Jobs Defined in the Export Profile option.
4. Select a profile and click Run Profile.
This runs the export process and displays the following screen:
This screen contains 5 columns.
5. Click x to close the screen.
6. Click the Edit Profile of the selected profile.
This displays the Edit Export Profile screen:
7. Click Define Columns to Export.
This displays the Edit Grid Columns screen:
8. Click Insert Columns, and then select Insert using Job Description Token Wizard.
This displays the Job Description Tagged Text Token wizard.
9. Select Expression that may consist of multiple tokens (TaggedText) and click Next.
This displays the Edit Job Description Tagged Text tab.
You can create multiple tokens using tags and built-in functions in this editor.
To view sample expressions
You can view the sample expressions that can be created in this editor.
1. Click Sample Expressions.
This displays the sample expressions in the following screen:
Scroll down the editor to view all sample expressions.
2. Click Close Form.
This closes the editor.
To insert the tags
1. Click Select Tags.
This displays the Select One or More Properties from a Busines Object screen:
2. Use the search and filter options to find the desired properties.
3. Select a property and click Select Row(s) and Close Form.
This populates the tagged text in the editor as shown in the following figure:
You can select and add multiple properties if required.
To insert the functions
You can insert functions to append the existing tagged text.
1. Click Select Function.
This displays the Select Expression Function screen:
The left pane displays the built-in functions, named expressions, and sample expressions.
2. Expand and select any node in the left pane.
3. Use the search and filter options to find the desired functions.
4. Select a function from the list which you wish to add in the editor.
5. Click Select and Close.
This appends the function in the editor as shown in the following figure:
6. Edit the expression further as per your requirements.
The expression in this example will return the parent/child information of a job and job code.
7. Select the job in the Select Job Description to Test list to test the expression.
8. Click Save and Close.
This adds the column in the Edit Grid Columns screen.
9. Click Save and Close.
10. Click Save and Close.
This saves the columns in the export profile
To run the export profile
1. Click the following icon to run the selected export profile.
This runs the profile and displays the results.
2. Click x to close the screen.
3. Click x to close the screen.
