You need to turn on the V2/StaticUI acknowledgments option.
Precheck
The instructions in this article are only applicable if the Static UI/V2 Acknowledgments are not turned on properly. When they are turned on (Business Rule StaticUI property is set to True and Application Settings property is set to True), it displays the Use V2 Configuration check box as shown:
There is no need to follow the next steps.
Steps to Upgrade to V2/StaticUI Employee Acknowledgments
1. Enable the V2 acknowledgment option in business rules
- Edit the business rules.
- Select App Settings and set the IsAppEnabled_JDAcknowledge_StaticUI property to True.
- Click Save and Close.
2. Enable the StaticUI Option in Application Settings
1. Navigate to Admin Tools → Application Administration.

2. Click Edit Application Settings.
3. Click All Properties.
4. Click Application Properties and set UseStaticUI to True.
5. Click Close Form.
6. Click Save and Close.
3. Configure Application Types
Each of the JDXApps App Types (forms) will be visible in the V2 Application Settings. These should be configured for V2/StaticUI Acknowledgments with assistance from JDXpert.
4. Configure Remote Tasks
If there are JDXApps Acknowledgment Remote Tasks configured, new Remote Tasks for V2/StaticUI Acknowledgments will need to be added and configured in Remote Tasks and V2/StaticUI Application Settings and App Type with assistance from JDXpert.
- Legacy AppsHousekeeping should be replaced with V2/StaticUI AcknowledgementsProcessing
- Legacy AppsPdfUpload should be replaced with V2/AcknowledgementsUpload
- EmployeeDataSnapshots does not need to be replaced and should continue to function as expected.
To turn off the V2 acknowledgment option in business rules
- Edit the business rules.
- Click the App Settings node and set IsAppEnabled_JDAcknowledge_StaticUI to False.
- Click Save and Close.
You need to set this option to False if it is already set to True. This step displays the legacy settings.
Application Settings property UseStaticUI will also need to be set to False with assistance from JDX to complete turning off V2/StaticUI Acknowledments.
