You can use Basecamp tool for managing the JDXpert implementation.
Basecamp overview
- Basecamp is an all-in-one project management tool to manage and implement software projects remotely.
- During the implementation phase, we will communicate on Basecamp to keep tasks and discussions organized and accessible.
Basecamp contains the links for important documents and file templates. Ask your IT department to add the web link https://hrtms.sharepoint.com/ in the allowlist so that you can access the valuable tools.
Logging on and adding users
After receiving your email invitation, log on to view your Basecamp home page.
If you need additional people on the Basecamp project plan, email their names and email address to your implementation specialist.
Dashboard
After successful logon, the project dashboard is displayed.
This dashboard provides access to the different sections of the Basecamp and displays the summary of project activity.
Message board
This board displays the biweekly update on the number of hours used on the project.
There are 80 hours for project implementation. You can purchase extra hours If it exceeds 80 hours (in rare cases). See our policy regarding meeting cancellations, project pauses, and so on.
Tasks and project plan
Basecamp provides complete guidance to assist you through the implementation. Besides a breakdown of the project, each task is explained properly, has templates, and clear instructions for implementation.
Task List Organization
The first task list is a high-level project plan, and the remaining lists are associated project tasks based on your configuration requirements.
Click the project task to communicate with others, leave a comment, and select the names who should be notified.
Completing a Task
After completion, check the task to indicate that it is complete.
If required, reassign the task to another person in your team. The completed tasks archive at the bottom of the task list. Click the task to view the details.
Adding Task Lists/Tasks
If needed, add new Project Task Lists and/or add additional tasks to existing lists.
Viewing your assigned tasks
- Click My Stuff, and select My Assignments.
Docs and files
You can easily upload and download any documents that are not associated with a specific task here. You can also create a text file to capture notes or any other information if necessary.
You can also create folders and link files from Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or Box.
Schedule
The schedule in the calendar contains deadlines for each task in the project. You can also set up the weekly meeting agenda.
Meetings can be added to your Outlook calendar as well.
Email forwards
Click Email Forwards. It displays an email address to send email items directly to Basecamp.
This is used by the implementation specialist so that any emails you send (instead of posting on Basecamp) can directly be sent and linked to your instance in Basecamp.
