You can configure content sources for blocks, which are used by the Global Search and Search options within blocks and bullet lists. This functionality consolidates and integrates information from the enabled sources into job descriptions.

Overview

Content sources configuration are specified in blocks and business rules.
By default, each block inherits the content sources defined in the business rules.
However, if the Has Custom Content Search Settings option is selected for a block, it overrides the business rule settings.

To enable the Search option in text blocks

Edit a job description.

Edit the job template editor.

Click the Edit icon of the Position Summary block.

This displays the following screen:

Scroll down in the right pane to view the Advance Settings section.

Select the Show Search checkbox.

This displays the Search button in the text box.

Click Save and Close.

This saves the settings and closes the job template editor.

The Search Library or Search option is available in text boxes and bullet lists within the following tabs:

To enable the Search option in bullet lists

Click the Edit icon in the bullet list designer.
Select the Data tab and click Bullet List Designer.

This displays the Bullet List Designer as shown:

Select the Toolbar Settings tab.

Select the GlobalSearch button and select the This Toolbar button is visible checkbox.

Click Close Form.

This displays the Search button in the bullet list as shown:

Click Save and Close.

This saves the settings and closes the job template editor.

To enable the “Content Library Mapping” option

You have to enable the Edit Mapping option for the building blocks to use the Global Search feature.

Select the Data tab in the right pane.

This displays the Content section as shown:

Select the appropriate classification in the Classification list.
Select the Content Library Mapping checkbox.

Select this option for all building blocks where you want to enable library mappings.

Click Save and Close.

To configure the custom content search sources in blocks

Open the job template editor
Click the Edit icon of a block.

Select the Settings tab.
Scroll down and select the Has Custom Content Search Settings checkbox.

This option overrides business rule content source settings.

Click Edit.

This displays the following screen:

This screen displays the following content search sources:

Client Content Jobs
Communal Jobs (Crowd-Sourced Jobs)
Company Jobs
Job Postings
O*Net Jobs
Sample Jobs

Each content sources has these three properties.

For example, set the following properties for Communal Jobs:

CommunalJobs – Set this property to True to select this option by default in content sources.
CommunalJobs_IsVisible – Set this property to True to make this option available in content sources.
CommunalJobsCaption – Enter the required caption.

Set these options for all content sources.
Click Save and Close.
Click Save and Close to save the settings and close the job template editor.
Again, use the Search Library feature to search for the content.
